A Guide to Photo storage and printing services online

Photobox

I found Photobox a little bit cheap. I think this is mainly because they don't offer free unlimited photo storage whilst charging a proverbial arm and leg for photos. Their special offers are fairly budget which really detracted me from their service.

Photo box do actually offer some storage but this is limited to 200MB which dependent on the size of photo you take will probably mean only one memory card's worth of photos. They do offer more storage when you buy photos from them but with 50MB offered at a time this really isn't worth it, 50MB is only around 20 photos and most people take over 100 photos per memory card.

As I said, their prices are not competitive. They offer normal size 4'x6' photos for 18p and 7'x5' photos are 29p per photo, their delivery costs £1.50 which to me seems extortionate. They offer "next morning dispatch" which is a bit of a pipe dream when using Royal Mail so would allow up to 7 days for the arrival of your photos.

The special features do not rival by any means those offered by Snapfish and I think to be honest Photobox as a whole is a bit of a poor man's Snapfish.
